ANZAC day poppies (late ones)
A few days ago my Dick King-Smith group did slides for ANZAC day. On google drawing I drew poppies using ovals, circles, rectangles and more shapes. Here it is

Six sentence story
Today we did six sentence story's and this is one of mine
Six sentence story
1.Introduce the main character
|
Once upon a time there was a dog named Gus.
|
2. Describe where the character lives
|
He lived in a small house in the back yard.
|
3.Describe the characters special talent
|
His special talent was farting and making his family leave the room.
|
4.Describe the character’s problem
|
He chased a cat then the cat jumped a fence and he thought he could jump the fence too, after he did it he hurt his leg and farted really badly.
|
5. Tell why the character felt this way.
|
He felt bad because he hurt himself and couldn't go to doggy day care and be with other dogs.
|
6. Tell how the character solves the problem
|
He solved this problem by staying in bed and kept resting his leg.

My goals
My Goals
- Writing-I want to write in paragraphs more often
- Spelling-I want to get better at spelling and that will help me with my writing and reading
- Fitness-I want to keep a pace and not sprint at the start
- Maths-I want to practise my multiplication and division
- Reading-I need to work on reading non-fiction
- Te Reo-I need to learn maori and practise more often and maybe at home
- Oral Language-I need to participate and contribute by sharing my ideas
- Poetry-I want to be able to do good poetry and make seem as if i got it out of a book
- Art-I want to get better and do more art and that would make me better
- Swimming-I want to get better at swimming by practicing more often and joining in
- Inquiry-I would like to get better at genius hour and get more information about Jackson Pollock
